Buy: Buy or Don’t Buy

Your guide to Buy or Don’t Buy.

You know when you really like something, agree with something, or understand something? You can call it “digging”, “getting behind”, or “McLovin’”, I call it “buying” when I completely support a person, place, concept, thought, movie, song, or really anything.

Yes, I am aware that the term “buy” has plenty of connotations and meanings, but for BODB (BuyOrDon’tBuy), it’s all about the abstract terms, because let’s face it, the economy is not doing so hot, and I can not afford all the things I love. And then again, money can’t buy the idea of blogging or the cliff hanger in season finale.

Now that I’ve covered the “buy” part, let’s discuss the “don’t buy” part. I’m a hater. I don’t like everything, in fact, I don’t like most things. But that’s the beauty of BODB and the Internet in general. You buy something I am boycotting? Share.

BODB is pretty simple to understand. BODB provides clearly defined standpoints on an array of topics and/or issues. “Buy” or “don’t buy” is the label system to easily express the feeling towards each topic. Lucky for all of us, I found a great group of intelligent people with their own opinions that will also be posting on even more topics than I could ever cover by myself.

So to kick off BODB, I buy this website. And so should you.
