Don’t Buy: Likeable Entertainment Couples Breaking Up

Every once in a while there is a couple in the entertainment industry that I don’t totally despise. And almost every time they break up. Example one was Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling (which begs a separate question… where did McAdams go?). It just makes me wonder, if they can’t, how can I?
But another couple now lies in the pop culture graveyard. Comedians and TV Show personalities, alike, Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel (as reported by USMagazine) are now donzo. Sarah Silverman annoys me with her tom-boy and potty humor. And Jimmy peaked with the Man Show. Apart they were mediocre, but together they gave us “aww, they’re cute together” and more importantly a Internet meme that had me wishing I was in a funnyman-funnygirl relationship.
Now, the best we can hope for is that Sarah Silverman either gets her own dating show, (think Tila Tequila or Rock of Love). Or Jimmy Kimmel stops looking so tired and potentially gets back to a show with another host and discusses beer and the things of that sort. This is a don’t buy because if happy and hilarious couples can’t make it, then.. where’s the hope for the rest of us?
Either way, it seems like they will separately continue to make potty jokes. But boy, did they leave something monumental behind. I present you the “I’m F*cking… ” series.

One time I was browsing YouTube for a Joanna Newsom song because I was feeling, idunno, whimsical(?) And I came across a video that turned out to be her first live national performance. On Jimmy Kimmel. And I was like wha? Would you like some Dom Perignon with your Twinkie?
Ugh I totally agree. Separately they’re just annoying but they were cute together, even if she’s a lot hotter than him. And the Matt Damon thing was awesome.
I don’t think anyone could settle back down with Jimmy Kimmel after having Matt Damon. Who wouldn’t want Jason Bourne, Will Hunting, and the Good Sheperd all in one?
