Don’t Buy: RIP stands for…?

Now, we all know Princess Diana has been dead for a little more than 10 years due to the celebration(?) that happened in honor of her last summer. And to the media and the promotion that went around that, let her be dead! I mean, I’m sure she was a nice lady, and I don’t really like when people die (before their time). (i.e. Heath Ledger) But seriously, let her go.

What brings on this little rant? Well, apparently there is some kind of connection of mobsters to JFK’s assassination. And I know that was a tragic day and everyone who was alive at that time can recall where they were when that happened. But, it’s in the past and although conspiracies are fun to talk about, drop it.

The story is that this paralegal and forensic scientist, Angela Clemente, is asking for all the documents regarding a Brooklyn Mafia informant, because she believes that there is a possible connection to the 1963 murder. (Yes, that’s over 4 decades ago!) She claims there are papers written by governmental spies that would have played a part in court hearings during that time period.

Whether it was the Cubans, the mob, Marilyn Monroe, or LBJ,  the point is mute. RIP does not stand for Ransack Individuals Persistently. You can be the judge for yourself in this whodunit; but for me, I’m over it. He seemed like a nice guy. He was gonna own the world and he has charisma that apparently has not  been matched since Obama, but, to you Mr. President, may you RIP, real soon.

Rest In Peace
