Don’t Buy: Joe Biden as VP Candidate

So like everyone in the cyberspaces is all buzz buzz about Joe Biden. This JUST HAPPENED, like, within the last 5 minutes. He’s apparently the blogosphere front runner to be Barack Obama’s VP candidate.

I like Joe Biden. On a personal level. He’s like the Larry David of the US Senate - in that he’s not afraid to say wildly inappropriate things that could be considered humorous among friends, but that fall totally flat in mixed company.

That is SO Larry David.

Larry had a black friend, too. Just like Joe and Barack. Although that relationship didn’t turn out so good:


I could see Joe Biden and Jesse Jackson switching cell phones, and TOTALLY pissing off Barack. Oh lord that would be hilarious. Only not really. Because it’s IRL we’re talking about. And we live in scary times.
