Mr. Chuan has resigned. Who? What? Why? Mr. Chuan was the CEO of Myspace China, a Rupert Murdoch/NewsCorp licensed name, but now he is done.
Who can blame him? 1. China is a communist country who isn’t really for the whole free speech thing. Myspace and social networks are all about free speech and creating a personal brand. 2. NewsCorp is trying to take over the world. They are already succeeding in America (hence the Bush presidency).

But China should have their own social network. Or if they want they can share in the fun with Zuckerberg’s baby (not the left arm of Rupert Murdoch). Luo’s resignation just shows, China is not gonna bend to the wills of us Americans. Murdoch might have thought that he could slither in and gain control of the Chinese youth, but no.
China has the largest internet presence in the world. Mr. Chuan would rather bow out then hand it over.
