Don’t Buy: STD eCards
A website called inSpot has created a handful of aesthetic lil’ eCards that anonymously impend your doom after you allow Outlook to download graphics.
For some reason, the site is broken up into cities, and different cities have differently designed cards. And for another bizarre reason, San Francisco’s are more masculine. My mind is being blown as I see the Canadian ones call STD’s STI’s.
There are a lot of unanswered questions here.
I’m going to take a journey to answer some of these by using the “personal message” feature:
The site encourages not to send them as spam…
Another lesson in URL v. IRL? It’s like last year’s craze has been replaced in eerie timeliness:
personal messages:
happy halloween!
libraries are pointless
what? friends listen to endless love in the dark
come tomorrow!

STD CARDS FTW!
There’s a major flaw. They are counting on you having the email address of the person-you-slept-with’s email address.
International: Ottawa, Toronto … ROMANIA???
