Smart, amiable, well put together, seemingly conscious? Wait, this woman works for the government? OUR government? Valerie Jarrett is one of the co-chairs of Barack Obama’s transition team. In this video she talks a bit about lobby reform as it pertains to the ethics of the new transition team and cabinet.

As you may have heard, ChangeDotGov is a new website geared at making the transition to the new regime as transparent as possible. Now, if you are one of those conspiracy types who think it’s all just one big sham, and that there’s absolutely no difference between parties and perhaps the government is secretly run by a group of illuminati, you have to admit that at least they’ve picked some really good actors as spokespeople. I can’t tell if Valerie is reading a teleprompter or going off of memory, but I buy it all the same. I actually believe I can trust her!
