A) Barack Obama + taxing rich people = Adolf Hitler
Mmm…yeah…no. Even if you ignore the fact that Hitler was not a Marxist…this is still retarded. (Story)
B) Sarah Palin + 4 years = viable presidential candidate
This woman couldn’t even graduate college in 4 years. (Story)
C) John Edwards - all integrity = viable anything candidate
Lately all Edwards has been doing is fail to get elected, and that was before we found out he was cheating on his terminally ill wife. (Story)
D) Joe Biden + Dick Cheney x the Naval Observatory = good idea
Just because I’m 86% sure that Wonkette’s take on this will actually happen. (Story)

I was actually thinking of Palin and Edwards together last night. Both losing VPs thinking about running in the next election, both fundamentally dishonest people - but I came away actually liking Palin better. Edwards is willfully deceitful, while Palin kinda just does whatever she wants without thinking.
You don’t think Palin is willfully deceitful? What do you call telling people that the Troopergate investigators cleared you of all wrongdoing when they, uh, didn’t?
Her lies are always in her head like “I wasn’t found to break the law so therefore I was cleared” and “I have opposed the Bridge to Nowhere at one point so therefore I am an opponent of pork and a maverick.”
Edwards’s lies in his head are more like “I’m going to cheat on my terminally-ill wife, and then I’m going to run for president knowing that if I win the nomination and it comes out I will have ruined the Democrats’ chances, but I won’t get caught so it doesn’t matter and even if people do find out about it I’m going to deny it for weeks and then finally when it’s too late I’m going to apologize and put my wife in the horrible position of having to defend me. But none of that matters because I totally won’t get caught because I am smarter and better than anyone else.”
There’s a difference. I still extremely dislike Palin for about a million other more important things, but there’s a difference.
