Buy: Ghostbusters, The Video Game
Find me one person who said they didn’t enjoy Ghostbusters. Everyone loved that movie. Me and you included, if my logic is correct.
On the same line of reasoning as why I am taking a don’t buy stance (as of now) on Ghostbusters 3, (rumors that Seth Rogan will be starring) I am all for the Ghostbuster’s video game.
Looks awesome, right?
Not only does it allow you to take a trip back to New York in 1984, when it was a cesspool, filled with drug addicts and thieves, but also ghosts, but you can also hang out with the coolest, quirkiest guys ever created. They were the original quirk masters. Think about it. They basically existed to be like “ha, I told you they were real” with a great sense of humor and the bestest of friends. Maybe that’s only appealing to me, but whatever.
I’m not a big video game player, but it looks good. It definitely beats another version or Guitar Hero/Rock Band. The best part of the game is that the characters talk, dance and catch ghosts. It’s like you’re in the movies! The best movie!
Also, the fact that it is based of the gloriousness of the 1984 original, complete with the Stay Puft Marshmellow Man makes it almost a guarantee buy. (Not to mention, Slimer seems to be making appearance).
The game is reported to hit the stores in June 2009.

The whole time I was waiting for the groove to start up and so then when it did I was so happy that I did a little dance.
Also, while I Buy having the characters actually look like Ackroyd/Ramis/Murray/the other guy, I have to give a solid Don’t Buy to not using their voices. Go big or go home!
