Buy Or Don’t Buy

Bush made his farewell address and who cared? I was more focused on the Office coming on than his speech. In fact, I forgot he’d be going on NBC to address the nation one last time. And I don’t know what to think.

1. Good riddance. Gosh. He’s outta here. (GWB: an overall don’t buy)

2. No one cared. No wanted to see him off. That’s so sad!

3. And in the speech that no one cared about he said:

Like all who have held this office before me, I have experienced setbacks. There are things I would do differently if given the chance. Yet I’ve always acted with the best interests of our country in mind. I have followed my conscience and done what I thought was right. You may not agree with some of the tough decisions I have made. But I hope you can agree that I was willing to make the tough decisions.

Now that… what… that makes me mixed up emotionally even more. So yeah, you agree you would do things differently. I’ll count that as an apology; that’s a buy. And then we’ve got the “whatever, I did what I did and completely effed over this country and I’m still a dummy.” Ugh!

The tide is turning, end of an “error” to beginning of.. Obama-nation? Whatever, I’ll take it.
