Don’t Buy: Saying Bye-Bye to Bunny Ears
Time Warner emailed me today to say that New York is going completely digital; all TVs are switching from analog to digital on February 17th, which means people will have to buy a bloody converter for their antennae to work.

On February 17th, memories of my brother and I bonding over spreading tin foil over our TV will be unrelatable. On February 17th, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure will become completely irrelevant. And on February 17th, Time Warner is going to make me buy a bloody converter so that I can continue to watch an hour of TV a week on a screen a few inches bigger than my laptop.
