Don’t Buy: Officially Made Fan Videos
You know those videos on Youtube that are either created by tweens girls or horny boys? The videos are usually a mash up of clips of the show put to a cheesy emotional pop ballad, or just montage of some chick looking hot. And these videos have a place, that place is youtube. Youtube is pretty much made for fan created montages, montage music videos, and a place to show off musical talents.
Hulu is not. Until now. While visiting Hulu to catch up on a few missed episodes, a featured video crossed my path. See below.
Yeah, cheesy music, montage of clips brought to you by the show’s number one fan? Nope. By NBC themselves. And on Hulu. I’m not sure I understand why. Maybe because I’m not a guy, but guys, does seeing that the show has a hot girl make you want to watch it? If so, are you going to start watching Gossip Girl? I don’t know, either way, it’s a don’t buy. Let the fans make their own stupid mashup montages. Let’s try not to stoop, NBC.

TV commercials made by the network themselves have been doing this for ages
I don’t really have an opinion (although if I thought about it would probably be similar to Matt’s) but I watched the video and:
Daaaaammmnn
That’s all
It’s hardly a commercial… it’s the same thing tweens make about their favorite shows.. it’s hardly a commercial when fans make it, it’s more of a homage, it’s weird they are making a homage montage for their own product…
idk, that’s just me
