Don’t Buy: The First Dog
B-Rock finally found a dog for the white house. This is Bo. The first dog. UGH!
I understand The President has a lot of things on his plate but picking out a dog is something that shouldn’t take more then an afternoon at a shelter.
Anywho, Bo is a gift from Ted Kennedy. Is apparently a boy Portuguese Water Dog. A gift from Ted Kennedy I would have expected something more along these lines.
What bothers me is this felt like it took forever and the press made this seem like a real story. The importance of the “first dog.” Who knew picking out a dog was so important? It’s not like the dog is going to be a member of his staff… unless hes the new White House Chief of Staff. Couldn’t do a worse job then Rummy and hell they probably have the same diet.
Hell, who knows what’s in store for Bo… I mean this guy is in the white house.

Rummy was Secretary of Defense, not Chief of Staff? And people will always have a desire for soft news stories to take their minds off the other awful stuff on the news. “A charismatic young president giving a cute dog to his cute daughters because it was his campaign promise to them” is probably the most warm and fuzzy news story possible.
Also, “Dude, Where’s the Party?” is an amazing name for a film. I need to see this.
