Buy: Fake Trailers
Sundays are usually spent looping old movie trailers (from 2001’s Sweet November ["Redemption's not for sale today."] to 1992’s Home Alone 2 [Chris Columbus' best?]).
But what better way to spend 4:21 than watching RomCom movie stills set to wordless Evanescence-inspired tunes? I tried searching for the promotional preview of Alicia Silverstone’s swansong, Excess Baggage, and came up short on official trailers uploaded to YouTube. But I DID find this gem:
One of my favorite aspects about this one is that the stills create almost a flipbook of one scene (did they ever leave the car in the movie?). Indeed, on a dimensional plane existing somewhere between a film and a flippy book, the fake trailer has created its very own medium. We should be paying for these!

I couldn’t get past 2:59. But I feel like I watched the whole movie.
Home Alone 2 had some great moments…
Which is the better Alicia Silverstone movie: Clueless or The Crush?
