Don’t Buy: Movies based on BORING board games
Okay, okay! I get it. There will be movies made based off childhood games. I’m tired of hating and complaining about this losing battle. Candyland is a land of imagination and tasty treats, a happy Hansel and Gretel! Monopoly… borderline boring, but not if it’s a Blade Runner-esque picture!
So now it’s Risk. RISK? I couldn’t even figure out that game. Not to mention, that game could go on forever. Like as in months and months. The press release says that Risk will be an action packed movie and is being made thanks to the (horrible) success of G.I. Joe and Transformers.
In the comments, suggest possible taglines/plots/actors.

Risk was an awesome game, and it didn’t go on nearly as long as monopoly. Movie will probably be extremely loosely based on Risk since there is no story in Risk, like Candyland.
Also GI Joe was hilarious and I highly enjoyed it.
The whole movie will be about how getting control of Australia leads to world domination. Then in a shocking third-act twist, it will turn out that strategy never works.
