He moved to New York after finding both Chicago and Los Angeles unsatisfactory to his needs. Finding things unsatisfactory is something Ryan Duffy has a lot of practice with.
Ryan met both Sara and Caroline at the Social Networking Sweatshop they used to slave at previous to this. There was no air conditioning, the bosses were assholes, and the company was dodgey, but it was the first of its kind, so they stuck around. (Well, not Caroline, because she was smart and quit while we were ahead.)
Ryan now works as a Social Media Manager for a boutique ideas agency. It’s like the little advertising firm that could: They’ve managed to land some huge ass clients and projects. If The Internet is a series of tubes, Ryan Duffy is Luigi. Not quite Mario, but still in the game!
Ryan Duffy has no relation to the dude who works for Vice Magazine, but if you’re reading this right now, other Ryan Duffy, let’s grab a drink some time and talk about how fucking Irish our names are!
